Thank You Repartee

Tonight I had my first exhibition in a gallery. So much fun and kind of intimidating. I want to thank all those who came and supported me, it makes everything more special to share it with those I love. Well, I gotta say, sitting there at 630pm just me and Michael (from the gallery) was a little scary, it's like those dreams where you show up somewhere totally unprepared and all alone with everyone staring at you, except it was just Michael looking at me. Maybe that is worse. But before long some friends started rolling in and of course my family :) It was pretty successful in my eyes and I had that moment of seeing my art amongst other professional artists and thinking, I can do this. Look at that...i'm an artist. I loved seeing people connecting with my work, strangers who don't know me, liking my work. So, thank you Repartee Gallery for giving me a moment to see the artist have become, and the artist I hope to be.
